Misrouted Hose - Ninja 250

There has been a hose hanging out the bottom of my bike for about a week and I am just wondering what it is. I looked in the service manual but am not very mechanically inclined so I wanted somebody else's opinion. From the service manual it looks like it may be the fuel tank drain hose.
I'd also like to know how it should be properly routed so that it won't hang down so low to the ground.
Thanks

hose

Yes it is normal. I think there are two of them. One is the overflow from the coolant reservoir. I forget what the other is.

You know you can a) touch the hose and move it around and then b) see what's moving on the other end to verify what it is.

If I remeber correctly on the '08 forward one hose is the coolant overflow and the other is from the air box to drain off any oil/moisture.

nope, on the new gens... one is for coolant overflow and the other is for gas overflow. The airbox overflow is a small bulb in the lower portion of the airbox.
