First off Mrlmd, snake and komohana thank you all so much .....
Thanks to all your post and advice I was able to force the dealer to give me a new battery although they refused at first. Which allowed me to take my first ride on my first bike. Around the block n five minutes latter it started pouring but let me tell you because of people like you all I am going to have n amazing summer learning to ride from the filthy streets of Boston all my best wishes to all the people that make a forum like this sooo great Tom malnati Posted via Mobile Device |

Amen to that
Mind your bubble! A bit envious of the steep learning curve you are on...very satisfying.

Good for you, glad you're on the road (riding, that is). I hope you charged that new one up first so you won't have to visit the dealer again.
And do the MSF thing, nothing like learning it right the first time. it's harder to unlearn bad habits later. And since you listened to and benefited from the advice here, ATGATT! |

No problem Tom. That is what is so nice about this forum. Lots of friendly people that try and help and not flame the new folks. Glad our advice helped you out. Remember to pay it forward as you learn more.
