The unveiling of the Plum Crazy Purple 250R

We bought this 250R from my son who deployed... My Wife Mary's 1st bike and when we got it had been dropped on both sides.. Both slow speed drops.. We bought some new and some used parts from members here.. It was a toss up on paint or new body work, Paint was about half the price so yep you guessed it..

I wanted White and Mary wanted Purple.. guess who won?

Being a long time Mopar fan.. Plum Crazy Pearl was a given..

Mods include..
Chrome OEM style decals from Kevin at aavinyl (yet to be installed)
Rim stripes I have white & chrome havn't decided which color yet..
needles shimmed 3 on each
blue led dash lights
lowered 1" frt & rear
OEM Kawasaki dbl bub windscreen
no cut blinking brk light
Scott's Hugger
Targa 1/2 bra
Yellow high beam bulb
swing arm spools
gas cap mod
Chatterbox communication

We are not home yet so our Son put the 250 together.. Pictures were taken by our Son as well so they are not the greatest.. {phone camera}

Actually 2 different colors..

Same color with pearl added i think..

paint codes are different though..

Looks good! Is that about the color of the bike? I tried to adjust it a bit in photoshop since it was taken with a phone camera and all. How about this one:

It's a unique color which is awesome! I'm even liking the OEM double bubble.

We havn't seen it in person yet? So really we don't know?

Yes Mary likes the clear screen as well.. She is not big on smoked screens..

Post pictures when you get the decals on. I'm sure I have an idea what it'll look like, but we all know that it's awesome to show off your mods to people who will appreciate them. and personally, I could admire pics of ninjettes all day long

No! Most likely it is because what could have been said has already been said.

I love that color! Nice bike. I agree that the decals will be the touch it needs to really "pop". Have you considered polishing the rims? I think that would look great with the purple.

thank you, we never even thought about black for the decals???

Yes there will be pic's of the bike w/decals all cleaned up and Mary in all her gear..
