Honestly, it's like a different bike. I can feel the extra torque and power in every flick of the throttle, I've got power where i didn't have it before in corners. I was ever so slightly skeptical about how much of a difference it would really make. The best £170 i ever spent.
The Dyno said the stock map was terrible for my bike. This has really made me think about doing this to every bike i get in future. You get the peace of mind that the bike is performing as it should. I feel very lucky that the dyno is 20 miles from my house haha. |

But allow me to say the following please, I can't and won't believe that your stock mapping afr was 12:1 because of the following reasons: I know the stock afr and there the richest value for afr is 13.0 at 10500 rpm and the more important thing is, that nowadays with the given emission laws no manufacturer would map so rich because the engine would miss the registration process. Also the stock mapping up to 5000 rpm is very lean since there you have the closed loop area where the 02-sensor is changing the afr to lambda 1 (14.7:1). But anyway it's good to see you're happy now |

I had the stock map and a temporary one from Kerry from areap on, perhaps he meant the temporary map. The bike must have ran very rich and my one not so rich. Yes reading the info you've given that must have been what he meant. Out of curiosity, what does your FI 250 read on the dyno? |

I don't have a dyno or did a run, because here where I live it's not available. So I take the given result from Leovince, which shows 38 hp at the crank with their full-system and the FAST-Fuelsystem (about the FAST-Fuelsystem is to say, that this is not based on Dynojet-Codebase since its programmed on Leovince's own know-how). In case of the Ninja 250R-FI-Model the Leovince Fullsystem is the most powerful exhaust system one can take, besides the systems from Arrow plus Yoshimura and Two-Brother following, while for the 250-Carb-Model in US the Totsubo (which is a real race-exhaust) is in front of the Leovince-Fullsystem. One point in case of our Ninja is very important to know, the exhaust needs enough back-pressure, so if you look for more power, don't use an exhaust without DB-Killer. Leovince is delivering two different ones, one is open or free-flow which gives the lower power-gain and if you look for more power they recommend to use the closed one with only 6 holes inside. And from my experience I can say, that you really feel the difference. Here's a nice video about the Leovince Performance Upgrade: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wOGOyJyWrG4 Read post #136 please: http://www.kawiforums.com/ninja-250r...ml#post2096721 This is the estimation about my Ninja: Power Specification (at the crankshaft) ~ 37-38 HP (estimated, Stock = 33 HP) Leovince Full-System Exhaust ~ 3 HP plus (with 95 RON benzine, max. 5% Ethanol) Leovince FAST Fuel-System ~ 1 HP plus Air-Filter, Ignition Advancer and Motul 300V ~ 1 HP plus (using LED's only - yes, Modul 300V gives a small gain in power!) This all plus the all over Weight-Reduction (Stock: 171 kg wet = TH-Model) = 8 kg less - 146 kg dry / 163 kg wet (Front: 81.5 kg [from 84 kg] - Rear: 81.5 kg [from 87 kg]) I'm talking about crank-hp always since this is the normally used value and if you want to calculate from RWHP to Crank please look at the EU-Regulations 95/1/EC and 2002/41/EC how to do that - the difference is round-about 8.5% up to 10% for mechanical not good conditioned bikes.
