She's in Tennessee. Most rednecks are missing their teeth. Some people believe there are a lot of rednecks in Tennessee.

Again..... Hilarious.
I feel bad for the woman. Golf course is liable for it as they are supposed to have nets to catch those. Dentist appts are not free.

As for the redneck crap, I'm from w.va and have heard this nonsense my whole life. It gets old.

If this is the course i'm thinking of, I ride by it on my way to class. There is a hole or at least a couple tee-off areas right beside the main road and no nets are there.

Meh, Cali makes me think surfer and skater dude. Now if you were from San Francisco, then that'd be different.

WV has a TON of rednecks as long as you get away from Motown.

As far as TN I'm sure there's good areas, but then I'm sure there's areas that do have a lot of rednecks.

There is a lesson to be learned here, which has already been stated.

ATGATT.

It is people like you that ruin this country. There is a major amount of acreage around a golf course, and if you put up a net the whole way around a course, it would cost an immense amount of money. Read, it would cost the patrons an immense amount of money to play golf. I don't play golf, but I am a realist. And the reality of this situation is that if she was wearing a proper helmet, this would not have happened. Oh, yeah, and if the Liberals in this country made country clubs put nets around their courses, who knows what else we would be forced to do? Probably things like pay for YOUR health insurance because you feel entitled to it. Grow up.

Liberal as a proper noun (the case in which he used) refers to the Democratic party, basically, or people who want to legislate everything we do and take away our freedoms granted to us by the Constitution.

Which is the polar opposite of how I interpret "liberal" people/groups! Sounds like the Republican party are [ever-so-slightly] more liberal than the supposed "liberals" in the Democratic party.

Ron Paul seems to be more liberal and liberty minded than both republicans and democrats.

Your political system is almost is weird and nonsensical as ours

Even hinting im a liberal is comical at best. My guns alone would give most Democrats night terrors.

Seriously tho, everyone who is coming down on this woman.. Does anyone know if she was wearing a helmet ? Define proper helmet. Open face or those ridiculous turtle shell helmets are DOT approved..... so define proper.

And YES, golf courses are mandated by law and insurance liability to have nets around any public roadway. Otherwise I would just park my car near a golf course anytime I wanted a new paint job

As I go back and look at my post, it does seem rather combative...that is not who I am, and for that I apologize. I have no idea what kind of view you have on society, and didn't mean to call you a liberal, even though that is behavior endorsed by active liberals.

The point I am trying to get across is that there are inherent risks involved with riding, such freak occurrence. Suing someone because of a lapse of one's own judgement, like spilling coffee on ones' self or tripping on a slightly raised threshold whilst not paying attention, is a pathetic way to sell out and cash in. These such cases should be thrown out for the asinine attempts that they are, and the people then thrown in jail for obstruction of justice, taking the place of a case that really has importance.

@akima-you also have liberals running your country. It is evident whenever you pay a "carbon footprint" tax for merely being alive, for paying what is it now, $10 a gallon for gas, most of your income in taxes, and a charge for grocery bags. It is being proven, all over the world, that big government ruins economies, and that capitalism, though not perfect, is the best economic model. /rant (sorry for that, had to get it off my chest)

Apology accepted. I read your post to my wife, lol. She got a good laugh from me being liberal.

however, I do not see this a lapse in the womans judgement but rather the judgment of the golf course for not obeying the law. Actually, I would like to see what became of this.

With the UK, its just weird. Guns, all guns, are outlawed but you can stroll down to the local pet store and buy a Mangrove snake. I mean, the Mangrove snake is not always deadly but it does have a potent (venomous) bite.

I couldn't live in an area that outlaws guns. There is then too much risk to be mugged by a gun-wielding hoodlum. I am surprised that they don't get it-if they are truly trying for "the greater good".

I read an article (think it was in chicago) where there was a handgun ban. Anyway, guy breaks into other guys house armed with a handgun. Home owner shoots the intruder with his own handgun that he had moved to the city with. Intruder dies, home owner arrested, I believe he was charged with manslaughter but I don't remember

^^Sure does, pathetic when it comes down to semantics determining if you are legally protecting your house & family, or committing murder. I hate punk judges that have no sense of true justice.

Not to mention, the sgun would have been much messier. The guy definitely was thinking no way am I gonna clean up that mess. The shotgun is for when they are running out the front door.
