Thanks - it's getting there. Ordered a rebuild kit for the petcock, then need to sort out what to do about the damaged seat.

The box full of NOS parts is just about empty - so it's gotta be getting close.

Did a little final detailing before moving it out of the shop and into the office.

The petcock rebuild kit should arrive today, and after that the tank should be ready to go back on.

Great to see you here. I've seen your Dream on the 305 Forum. Nice bike, I've got a CL77 that I'm restoring.

Thanks.

Those guys know their stuff over there. Some of them have rebuilt bikes from almost nothing.

Drop a pic of your bike in here if you would like.

Took a quick shot in its new resting place until I can get it outside for some better pix -

Made a 11x14 print of the Elvis shot that I need to frame and hang where the big photo is now.

Wow!!! Kudo's again on your 305 Dream! That is a Beautiful Machine!! So....Do you plan on riding it, or is it going on display in your living room?

Thanks. It's almost done. Just a couple small things to attend to yet.

This one won't be ridden for now. The tires are original from 1964, and in decent condition for their age, but not road-worthy. I'm trying to keep it as original as possible, about 90% at this point in my estimation, so I want them to stay.

It's in my office at the shop, and trades places with my buddy's Bultaco Metralla, Ducati 250, or my Derbi GPR.

EDIT: If you want to see all of the photos in this thread, you will need to install the "Photobucket Fixer" extension.

This is a link to a "Photobucket Fixer" extension for Chrome - https://chrome.google.com/webstore/d...giikdkpmcpkaon

There is also one available for Firefox - https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/fir...obucket-fixer/

These do work! It makes all the dead photos alive again, so you can view them as usual. It works only for the computer that has it installed, and doesn't fix the thread itself.

Winning!

More updated pictures from this thread.

Ya - I got lucky with this one. It was made about the same time I was...

No idea why the original tires are not all checked and cracked at this point.

Currently working on the '70 CL450 Scrambler that I've had for 20 years. Not terrible, but nothing like the condition of the Dream.

EDIT: I wanted to toss in the last shot of the day. My favorite, and a bit moodier that the other detail shots -
