Hey, another Oregon rider here, but way way way south, in Klamath Falls, a whole whopping 17 miles from the Cali border

Have a lot of friends up in Portland and Seattle, and I may work in a couple rides up that way this year. Otherwise, its going to be the normal trip out to the desert and maybe a couple to the coast.

Post up an interesting meet location, plan a fun route, choose a date at least a week or two in advance, and people will come out of the woodwork.

I'm 47,My wife (Kris)and i have been married 21 years,my son 14 still lives on youtube.... LoL at home.
I have been riding since 1983,and we love it over here in Central oregon.

Nice to hear from you!

I know a guy who just picked up a old school Ninja 250 this last summer, but it wasn't as advertised and I have been helping him getting it sorted out. Another buddy of mine has a TU 250, and we have ridden a fair bit.

Have to be a bit careful, the best roads around here if you like twisties are probably 66 and Dead Indian/Clover Creek (I know some more though that are crazy good when you are up for day rides).

I usually ride year around, as I have good cold weather riding gear. The only thing that shuts me down is snow/ice on the roads, but you do have to start being careful since most of the fun roads are getting some sand/gravel spread on them - sigh!

This IS the time of year to look for good deals on bikes! It is totally the best time for cruising craigslist and such.

It would be cool to meet up and say hi sometime. Am certainly hoping to get more riding in the coming year!

yeah well I am saving for a new ninja. I dont wanna deal with buying used since everyone wants 3500 for a newer ninja. 4500 is not bad for a brand new bike.
