Where does this screw go?

I seem to be terrible at keeping them organized while working on the bike. Lesson learned

That's a very interesting screw. I don't remember seeing that whenever I worked on my bike.

I'm pretty sure its for the front fender.
The screw for the seat is black and doesn't have that spacer.

definitely NOT the seat screw. Might be one of the ones that connect the rear fairings together between the two seats?

I agree with trailerboy this looks like the screw that holds the two fairings together.

Well I have 2 possible locations now, I'll try both

For those not seeing the picture, it's hosted on Drop Box, not a clue why it wouldn't be showing up.

I changed the picture to be a local attachment; everyone should be able to see it at this point.

Seat bolt 100% unless you've taken things apart that I haven't which is unlikely

fixed , I am 99% sure after taking the bike completely apart more than once there is a silver screw with a spacer washer that secures the front seat. for the rear fairings that washer is black with a narrower and longer screw. That screw can be seen right under your rear seat

I'm gonna go with seat on this one. I've only removed the front nose bit and the side fairings and seat. If they use a similar one on the rear, I wouldn't have been into it yet.

the screw is the same as tens of other screws on the bike but that washer is used for the front seat and the bottom rear side fairing mounts. however every single 250 i've seen that isnt brand new no longer has that washer on the bottom fairing mount anymore... i wonder why? lol
