two bros slip on
So I was just installing my slip on, and the replacement bushing doesn't fit on the inside. Outer one is fine but the inside one's outer diameter doesn't mesh up just quite with the inner diameter of the hanger. I got it partially in by threading the bolt and crankin er down. But it's not fully seated and its about as far as i can get it to go, hand cranking(don't want to break or fack anything up). So waht should I do, grind a bit off the bushing with a dremel, take it to a machine shop. The outer one has a bit of play in it so i can't see it being super important for it to be 'that' snug. I'm thinkin of just takin the dremel to it. I got it all mounted up anyways, seems solid. But I just had to get it on to hear it, definitely gonna straighten it out. Also there's a bit of a leak(ever so slight) where the slip on pipe meets the stock pipe. It says in the manual to use soem sort of 'high temperature silicon' any recommendations and where I could find it???

Dremel did the job, not sure how much I took off, maybe a sixteenth or less. Posted it on another forum and apparently alot of people are having this problem with the two brothers exhaust. But it all worked out, woulda been nice to just bolt everything up but c'est la vie. Only thing left to do is take it all apart and install that permatex heat silicone, and then it'll be golden. Sounds amazing btw.

I had a similar problem but I was using an aftermarket hanger . I wound up just using that sapcer on the outside and tightening the crap out of it. It worked perfectly because the can needed a bit more clearance on the outside and having the spacer the spacer there provided just enough.
