Replacing Forks
Hello All!
So I just got new forks in the mail, and am looking forward to replacing my current bent ones. I've been seeing a lot of advice telling people to "only tighten to spec" because if you tighten the triple tree onto the new forks too tightly, you can pinch them and ruin them. Can someone tell me what the spec tightness is for a 2006 Ninja 250r? I don't have an owner's manual so this info would be great. Also, how do you know when they're tightened to "spec"? Is it just a general gray area or is is very very specific? Any info would be awesome, thanks! |

Special torque measuring tool?
How do you measure the torque though? Is there a special tool that I need for this?
