New custom exhaust!

sooo I put this here because its not for a ninjette. (for a 05-06 ZX6R)

Still some kinks to work out for the next one, and I still need to mount it and make sure it mounts up ok. Im pretty stoked though! already have a guy ready to buy one

What does it fit?

I was really hoping this was an undertail setup for the ninjette...

will be making one for the 07-08 hopefully too.

possibly the Daytona 675 as well. Not sure yet.

I dont have the mandrel bender to bend the SS for a ninjette exhaust. If I had one I may attempt it.

Id need a bike to test fit it on though.

I've seen parts of Nashville that are amazing, and parts that are worse than most of Memphis. I'd say it's a toss up between the two. We live in "East Memphis" just outside East Parkway. Close enough to Midtown to have fun, without being as close to some shady areas.

Since we are hijacking, whilst awaiting video of the exhaust... My gf's mom lives in Bellevue and we've talked about riding up there to see her one weekend. Any nearby roads I shouldn't miss??

I'm harsh, I know. As long as there aren't too many boogers inside, should be fine.

Actually I'd be more concerned if the cans are touching each other where they meet at the Y. Could be a source of vibration noise if there's any friction there.

Yeah they are really close to touching. That will be addressed in the next batch. We will probably make like 2-5

Once the kinks are worked out that is. Yeah inside is fine I looked. I would like to have someone tig them but meh, its just cost effective. I guess I could learn... haha we have one at the shop. But they also kind of angle out. that will also be fixed. My bike is torn apart so this time we will be test fitting it constantly.

TIG isn't hard. It's making it look pretty that can hard. Learn to walk the cup and you'll be making pro welds in no time.

It looks like they're not in line with the bike, though.
is that intentional?

no... lol

It is a little off. About 1/2" we will fix it. I just wanted to RIDE so we stuck it back on and I took off haha

I think we are going to build a whole new one. I have the material. I had hella people telling me they wanted to buy one but they all dissapeared, so Ill make another for myself.

This is why i dont buy material or powder for people without getting a down payment anymore.

Its angled correctly. and close enough to being centered. If its off, its less than an 1/8" off. Also its on its side stand... so it is leaning.

we rerouted the piping too, sounds better, and butt dyno says it performs better.

just a random off topic question @massacremasses since you are in Cali, have you ever gotten pulled over for that vertical license plate? also what did you use to make the plate?

I havent... YET... Im running multiple "illegal" things right now though. I dont have rear turn signals, plates vertical, and there is no light on it. Granted these are all fix it tickets but Id rather not get pulled over..ha. But it really depends on where you are at and how strict your police are...

My buddy Paul threw it together for me. Its not very hard though. We just used some 18 gauge galvanized steel and part of the original mount. I work at a fab shop though. sooo we can make all kinds of stuff out of metal... ha. We will probably make a horizontal mount soon. I dont think theyll catch the no blinkers but they may not like the plate mount...
