My worst ever was glass and bottles. I was driving on the highway behind a recycling truck when one of the small square chutes (about 2" X 2" square) they use to unload the bottles opened up. I started getting hit by broken glass as the bottles hit the ground and exploded. Then I got hit square in the chest by an unbroken bottle. I saw it coming, and had no where to go, so I held on tight and braced for impact. It almost knocked me off the bike, but it did knock the wind out of me and bruised a couple of ribs. I also had some cuts to a couple of exposed areas. The truck happened to be getting off at the upcoming exit and so did I. When I told the driver what happened he told me "So?". A highway cop happened to roll up as I was trying to drag the guy out of the truck. The driver was heavily fined since the chute was still open with bottles sticking out of it.

Not sure of this counts - got caught behind an onion truck and my eyes started watering so bad I had to pull over. True story.
