I have this one:
http://www.cyclegear.com/spgm.cfm?L1...m=FTL_CAR023_G

I'm pretty happy with it - it expands to carry more, and it's got a rain shield. It's small and not too cumbersome off the bike.

I bought it from my local Cycle Gear store, which was nice because I went in looking, and the guy behind the counter said "take them out, put them on your bike, and see what you like." In retrospect, I think that was worthwhile versus buying online and taking a crap-shoot.

check out the luggage section on the wiki - you'll see mine and ftr - I love it My only complaint is that the handle and the safety strap leave marks on the tank - I wrapped felt around them though, so that seems to have fixed it

I just ordered the Cortech Tour Master Sport Tail Bag, and the Cortech Mini Tank Bag from Newenough. I read the review on Cortech bags here and on some other sites, and these seemed to be quality bags.

Scott - just be careful with the magnets - if you take it off of the bike, and lay it down somewhere, be sure there's nothing on the magnets before you put it back on there.

Good advice. Thanks Kim.

On a side note, I ordered the bags from newenough yesterday afternoon and they arrived FedEx today! I was pretty surprised. I didn't expect to see them until next week sometime!
