South East trackday riders- JGP Oct. 5th

A few people expressed interest in joining in my next track day endevours.

Several times a year Jennings Gp in north Florida reverses their riding and runs the track backwards...clockwise.

I and a couple buddies will be heading up there to wear out our tires before Daytona two weeks after this.

Saturday October 5th. It's a normal open day- but reverse days tend to draw a larger crowd so sign up sooner than later.

I'd love to run the track with some formitable 250s.

I've only got a buddy who rides an R6 joining so far but will get a couple more now that I have a solid plan to go.

What do you ride again? I know I knew at one point.

Oh. I am driving up Friday evening and camping at the track driving back after riding on saturday.

Need to keep costs low. Hotels and traveling between the track and hotel add up.

GSXR-1000. Last time we were at Jennings together was Dave's last trackday (I had my son with me, it was his first trackday). I pitted with Dane and that girl who was killed about a week later on her bike.

Mainly I remember following you watching you lay down rubber coming out of turn 1.

I remember that comment. I was trying to keep the rubber on the tires for my son to learn and enjoy but you know once on a track it's hard to go slow.

I'm going to try and make it, need to shake the cobwebs off me and the bike ( old EX 500 Racebike ).
Been a couple of years since being on the track.
Will be like starting over again, especially having never ridden JGP in that direction.
Hope to see / meet some of you there!

I may bring both.
The old EX is truly more fun to ride than most people would think.
I can turn almost the same lap times on it as on the duc.
I know that says more about me than the bike.

If you are going to bring two bikes, I'd bring the Duc and that monster 1200 ZRX, but then I like to muscle things around and ride bikes that aren't easy to ride. It's much more rewarding. Anyone can ride someting that is easy to ride.

I'll be riding a 71' blow boat down to the islands.

However, if I was going, I'd be on either a GSXR 1000 or an 82' GS1000S Harris (which is the hardest bike to ride I've ever been on, but serious fun).
