tube for brake bleed

As I am collecting parts for my anticipated brake job, I realize I need to get a tube to bleed the brakes.... replace the brake fluid altogether actually.

What size tube (I.D.) do I need to buy?

While I'm at is, any recommendations for fluid?

Harbor Freight, if you live close enough to one, has a kit very similar, and works great!

^ Mityvac has some nice ones too, good for bleeding brakes and testing vacuum components/sensors. I have one from the 80's, it still works like a charm. I wouldnt get one of there plastic versions thou.

I just used a 1/4" hose.

I use ATE Super Blue fluid (same as my car). The fluid is actually blue so you can tell when you have all of it out of the system. They also make the same fluid formula just in an orange color so you can alternate back and forth and always know when you have the old fluid out.
