Raising clipons.
New to the forum and I have searched around on this one and did not see the answer. I am looking at purchasing a Ninjette, but wondered if you could raise the clipons with Ninja 250 bar blocks without lowering the bike. The threads I have found always include lowering the front. I just want higher bars.
Thanks, Stuart |

Welcome to the site, Stuart !!!
I have seen risers that go between the upper tree and the the stock bases of the handlebars. If you want to reach even higher, you could switch to clamps on the upper tree that hold a tube type of handlebar, like for the Ninja 650.

Stuart,
Yes you can use lowering blocks to raise the bars. Most people take advantage of the holes in the blocks that allow you to lower the front end by sliding the forks up, but this is not necessary. You can use the blocks to raise the bars without lowering the front. Hope that helps. |
