Wanted: Ninja 250

Looking for a cheap ninja 250 to purchase. trying to spend the least amount possibly possible.

Open to any condition ninjas that need or don't need work. As long as it has a title!

Wink wanted 250 ninja

There is a bike set up for the track but with all the parts to put in on the street if that's what you want. (you post wasn't clear about this) Anyway, $2500 is a good deal if the bike is not beat up. I don't know the seller, but I set up and tracked a ninja 250 and really liked it. His list of mods makes sense and some of the things you'll want to keep for the street anyway. Here is the link:http://forums.mra-racing.org/viewtopic.php?t=16529. Hope you find the bike of your dreams.

that'll be difficult to find, possible but difficult. unfortunately I can't really help you other than saying to save up a bit or hit up a junkyard and buy two to put together

Where are you located at? How far are you willing to travel for an inexpensive Ninja 250? Are you familiar with craigslist or have you already looked there for any? As the riding season winds down, I would imagine more bikes should be popping up there and hopefully cheaper.
Tony

250 ninja 2007 $800

This is on the MRA site in Colorado. Here is the link: http://forums.mra-racing.org/viewtopic.php?t=16046 I don't know the guy personally. I've talked with him a couple of times. If it's the guy I'm thinking it is, he works at a local motorcycle shop and helps his teenage sons race in the MRA. He's a good guy. I don't know if the bike still for sale. That is the extent of my connection to this guy.

The reason I know about some of these for sale items is that I check the MRA site, TWF racing (SV650s) Colorado Sportbike forums on a daily basis. It's my home state. The racing sites often have good deals on motorcycles and gear. I recommend you check your local motorcycle race organization web site and see if they have anything for you.

I'm not sure where you are located but I have a 2005 that blew an engine. I already swapped another engine into it. It starts but the carbs are lehh dirty which means it hardly runs and needs to be cleaned which I just haven't gotten around to. Has some decent tires too. Needs a new chain too. It has some damage on the fairings etc.

I'd sell it to yuh as is for $600 or I'll fix it and sell it for $1500 ;D just saves me the hassle and I have too many projects!
Basically Carb cleaning and a New Chain and you are stormin! The engine I swapped into it was running and only sat a few months on my garage floor covered in bubble wrap. Its Kawi Green!
It is located in SLO California.
