If the horn is indeed defective then take the opportunity to upgrade to a FIAMM horn (Less than $20 at autozone).

Nevermind I see you're not in the states.

anyway, it's quite hard for me to squeeze through traffic since my horn is out of order. I need to warn them not to change lane suddenly, otherwise I'm sandwiched!

Horns don't go bad very often... not sayin it's not your horn, but it's probably a problem with another component in the horn system.

Don't need a meter, just connect a light bulb between the two horn terminals, press the button and see if the light comes on. No light --> no power.

I upgraded to the "Freeway Blaster" last week after reading the reviews here. The low end horn sounds like a truck is coming. It really wakes people up. I got it at Autozone for $17 and it was a very simple install.

I don't know. I don't have the mood to check the horn today. My day already ****ed up. My car suddenly broke down 3 am while getting some food from MacD and then MacD says..." Sorry sir, the order that you want is finished."... to add some more, my date also cancelled. Great.

I hope things start looking up when you get your horn fixed (or before).

Okay.. the drama is continued...

After I came back from the Eid holiday, I quickly went to my usual repair workshop for some parts. They checked my electrical system and suggested that to do a by pass to the existing horn system. So, on went with the surgery.

It sounded great and VERY loud.
move away granny.
