Cagers...smh

This morning on the way to work a Corvette "fakes" pulling out in front of me. (Starts to pull out and then slams on brakes when he finally notices me.) I shake my head at him and he pulls up along side me at the next light and says he intentionally faked pulling out in front of me. He "thought I was a moped" and "could barely see me" and wanted to"show me how invisible I am" WHAT AN IDIOT. It was 7:15, so the sun was just beginning to shine. I have a 2010 Green SE, so a pretty visible color scheme. I wear a black Icon leather jacket with basically highlighter yellow reflective Icon backpack as well as the helmet in my pic. I think I'm pretty damn visible.

Instead of him realizing that he needs to look twice and be more careful because the weather is great and motorcycles are alll around, he thinks I should be MORE visible than I already am.....smh

I find that some people who drive those types of cars also have an incredible sense of entitlement.

I'm almost positive that's fair grounds for a mirror removal.

Corvettes are prescribed to jerks who need an ego boost to go with their Viagra .

I hate people who think the world should accommodate them.

what a douche,

that's when you take your left hand, shift to neutral, raise your arm and come crashing down breaking his mirror off,

at this time it is okay to put your hand back on the clutch and get out of there asap

NO, that's got to be the worst advice ever...

Putting it into neutral leaves you a sitting duck
Kick the mirror off & scrape the side with your boot/ knee slider as you filter past, or let him take off, then hammer down on it as you pass him

This is implying a 250 can accelerate faster than a corvette from a 40-60mph roll. It's an american car, all you need to do is make a turn.

Thumbs down

hmmm never seen a bigger act of doucherry....not to thread jack or anything, but I was brake checked twice by a Ford Fusion, and I know it was on purpose because both times they were on the right lane just a bit behind me, accelerate and pull in front of me and slam the brakes...at the next light they are like, " my bad I didn't see you...its your fault for riding something so small." Felt like he was saying its my fault that he almost killed me twice....

Was really annoyed....when the douche started approaching me again I lane split and went on my way.

PS: forgive my lack of proper punctuation/grammar....always sucked at it and always put .... when ever i paused (dont know why)

Plan your move, dont try it on open road where the corvette will smoke most things short of a superbike, but in stop-go traffic the bike wins, manoeuvrability > speed (and filtering lets you hit them as a stationary target and get clear before they can react.) That french terrorist got away from 3 high profile shootings on a moped.

Granted I prefer scraping a knee slider along the full length of the car, it's not as immediately noticeable but proves the point

I'd have gone f*ckin mad after the second one & invited him to step out of his car to pick up his teeth when he stopped at the lights

Most run-ins I've had with cars, they would just slow down like they never wanted to see me again and disappear in the back.

This guy seems very typical of a Corvette driver. Did he look like he was driving daddy's car or is he a divorcee?

Alex is correct, you may have been very visible, but the proven fact is that most of the riders don't see you, or Alex, or me.

This guy was lying, in my opinion; he didn't see you until the last second and he did brake in panic.

It was the adrenaline rush what made him approach to you and make a story out of what really happened, maybe to try to be in peace with himself, who knows?

In reality, he was trying to tell you that he almost kill you a few seconds before, only that transferring the blame to you.

We may be visible, may have the right of way, the drivers may be idiots, etc.; but it is our duty to remain alert, defensive and alert.

In any confrontation with a Corvette driver you should remain calm, take a moment to look up and down his car and then use a casual, level-toned voice when you say, "Dude, I'm really sorry about your tiny penis."

I know, I just thought I'd try being funny My family owns a Corvette and I'm actually on the board for the Corvette club here. They're great cars and are actually sports cars, as opposed to muscle cars.
