Maybe your keys? I had a similar noise that took me a while to figure out, which was right in front of my face... haha

Rode the hell out of it after hubby put a 15-inch front sprocket on it! DEFINITELY recommend that mod. Makes 1st gear a more "usable" gear and lengthens all of them by a few MPH without any noticeable difference in acceleration. NICE!!
Tomorrow we're heading up to the mountains of NC and TN. Fun times ahead!

I mounted a new set of Sport Demons on our ninjette today! And realized I'm still the world's slowest mechanic, as it too *way* longer than it ever should have...

With no time to ride her on this beautiful day today, I walked past her in the garage and she whined at me a little bit. I then proceeded to pet the gas tank and say "there there baby, it'll be ok" then she whined again as if to throw a fit so I hopped on her saddle for a few moments and reassured her that come early monday morning we would be reunited once again as rider and ride-e. That did the trick.

5,300 on the front, 2,300 on the rear. Front was beyond toast, with a V shape and nothing left on either side, it was starting to behave very weird. Rear could have gone another 800 - 1000, but figured it would be nice to have fresh rubber on both ends for awhile.

Today I got prepared for the weekend

Spark Plugs:

K&N 401:

Jetting Kit:

Air Filters:

In the USA you would be able to just walk into a shop and buy this in one go. For me it took 4 x air freight and a fair bit of googling.

I have already chopped up my airbox so no turning back now

I have SD and I'm currently approaching 8k on mine. Tread still looks good.
Also, did a group ride to the mountains, round trip was about 220 miles.

I only leave my MC key in the ignition with nothing attached to it. I'm not too aquanted with the normal operating sounds of this bike yet so it's difficult to be more detailed, however the only information I can give is that I shimmed my bike with 2 #4 washes each needle, removed the snorkle, and I hear a momentary rattle / vibration around ~7.5-9k RPMs while accelerating aggressively. Under normal acceleration / casual riding, I don't notice the sound.

My clutch rattles at certain rpm; if I lay a finger on it, the rattle stops. Tried tightening it up this weekend and didn't seem to make any difference.

My last modifications includes:
- Mount turn signals in front and back (yes, in back too)
- Mirror with turn signals
- Carbon look in chain cover
- Scott's hugger
- 100% Adjustable levers

In pictures miss the hugger. That arrives in the afternoon, pics are in morning.

And surprise! A mount turn led in back!

All of those blinking:

It was intense. The drive took my dad and I 2 1/2 days. There was a family emergency so we only took 1 hotel break. I'm still waiting on my large items to get moved over. The bike arrived the same day I did to CT in perfect condition. I used Federal Motorcycle Transport who is part of Allied Van Lines. They were absolutely amazing, provided tracking and took great care of my baby. I'm not quite settled in yet but found a CT riding group

Deleted the fender and Snorkel. The difference is insane! big noise change and much better pull through out (well a little rough off line - but better once moving and steady through)

I was riding my ninjette to work today and rounded a Sharp right hand corner then, as I'm exiting the corner, some A-hole on a BMW touring bike comes flying past me on a double yellow. I almost freaked out because I looked in my mirror right before he passed me and thought that someone in a cage was going to rear end me at 45mph out of no where. He was so close that he took up my entire mirror making me assume it was a cage. Anyway, he flew past me and proceeded to pass a car in front of me on a double yellow as they were rounding another corner . That person was by far the most dangerous rider I've encountered so far.

Used it to get a new alternator for my car (which broke down yesterday and left me waiting for like 4 hours). Good thing I have an extra vehicle.
