I Used To Be A Regular On Here

I sold my '11 Ninja 250R in Feb 2015. I've regretted that decision ever since. I bought that bike brand new and truly believed I would keep it forever, but life took an unexpected turn, so I sold the bike to a man who wanted to introduce his new wife to sport bikes. I hope they have enjoyed that bike as much as I did for the ~34k miles I put on it before selling it.
Recently I've been contemplating buying another 250R or even moving towards a 300, but I can't justify it financially.

What's my point?

I just wanted to drop by and say that I enjoyed being a part of this community not too long ago. (Last login before today was Feb 24th 2015 at 12:59 pm)

I hope you guys enjoy your bikes and stay safe. I hope one day I'll be able to get back on another Ninja, but until then, I'll lurk in the motorcycle world online and continue dreaming.

Welcome back! Keep your eyes open for another bike for when the time comes for you to get back in the saddle.

I've been contemplating going the pregen-into-streetfighter route.

Yep, there are always people in the situation you were in... "toys" are the first thing to go so keep a look out. Save $500 and watch craigs list or Ebay for stuff in your area. And remember it changes week to week so if you don't find something, don't stop looking.

and what was the lesson learned? Sell a kidney before you sell your bike.
