Hella close! Was that a legal U-turn by the car? who's fault would it have been?

Car making a right hand turn would be at fault. He had a red light which is to be treated as a stop sign

That's what I thought, but I also thought that if you do a U-turn you are supposed to turn into the closest lane. And in WA you can only do a U-turn at specified lights.

If it was a u turn legal light then really u can use as many lanes as you need to. Some vehicles like vans and large trucks have to because they simply can't turn any tighter

It's pretty funny when I come to make a u-turn in my miata and I'm following a truck. I could basically(even though I don't) swoop in through the inside while the truck is only 3/4ths done with the u-turn.

It's just my Go Pro with suction mount attached at the bottom of the fairing.

Exhaust is an Area P knockoff....

I feel like it tends to be intersection dependent. A lot of the times when there is a left turn like that, the car that was turning right has a green arrow. At that point, there would be a sign that says U-turns must yield to traffic turning right. Otherwise, there will be a right turns must yield to U-turning traffic.

But in general, U-turns are only legal when safe to do so. But, dang, that was a close call.
