helmet with carry on bag?
anybody know if you can bring a helmet on with your carry on bag? just wondering might be flying somewhere to pick up a bike possibly.

I mean if you're going to stow it I guess you don't have to wear it....
but I think it would be funny if you did. |

I'm pretty sure you won't get any problems with Southwest Airlines, if that's who you're flying. I fly for them and I've seen more than a few helmets as carry-on baggage.
All you'd have to do is loop it through the handle of a carry-on bag and it qualifies as part of that bag. That's Southwest. I can't guess what any other airline will say. Good luck. |

You shouldn't have any problems. I've seen sorts of things as carry on baggage and neither TSA nor the airlines have any issues bringing a helmet on.
