I know this is an old thread but im having the exact same problem and cannot find any answers....my motorcycle was running good before i cleaned the carbs and now that i did i put it back together and it dies when i use the throttle

just wanted to give this thread a bit of a bump. My wife's bike is having the same issue with the bike dying on throttle up (after it's warmed up) Like others with the issue, I've done a bit of carb cleaning and all that, so I was curious if anyone's figured out the cause and/or a solution to this?

Yea when I took apart the carb I seen that I didn't put the spring in the right way so make sure you have the springs in the right way

New here, have been lurking almost since I got my bike. I'm having the exact same problem that the user above posted a video of.

I was planning on replacing the carbs since the screws are stripped and won't budge, but last time I took them apart and cleaned them, everything seemed in order.

I replaced my petcock after reading somewhere that it could be the culprit.

Background: Bike was running fine for a long time, went into storage and then was ridden less and less. Finally one day it was super boggy and then eventually began behaving exactly as the video posted.
