If I ride to work tomorrow and the weather looks ok, I will swing down to the Smyrna Bike night.

Didn't ride in today. Bike night in Smyrna was last night but I didn't go because the weather looked iffy.

I'll definitely be going on the 25th. I just got my bike back today with the new rearsets. They're so different than what I'm used to that I may not be going very fast at all. lol. I'm also going to try raising my front tire pressure up to 30 psi so that I'm at 30/30 front/rear.

So, as you all know, I really am amped up about hitting the track next year. The big purchase standing in the way is a decent leather suit. I have tried on a number of different off the rack suits and have had a tough time finding a good fit. I came across this site, these look like a really good value. Titanium sliders, Kevlar stitching and custom sized! Check them out! Has anybody heard of this company? http://www.cometracingleathers.com/

I'm in for a track day if I can get a suit. I have not heard of Comet but about a year ago one of the mags had an article about custom leathers, I saved the places they recommended.

I am SOOOO IN for a track day! I too have had a hard time finding a good balance of good suit with good fit at a price that I can be happy with. We'll probably be arriving at around 10 AM, but we'll be there for a while if you want to meet us there. We're just going to ride up and down 129 at Blood Mountain a few times and do the Suches Loop once or twice.

Both tomorrow, and Blood Mountain sound fun... I still have not replaced my front tire due to financial reasons so I only ride my bike 2 miles from my house and back. I need a new tire... I really want to go on the ride on Sunday, but I'm definitely going to have to consider whether the pace will be slow enough for me to feel safe with my crappy tire, as well as not going at all... :'(

It does looks a little large sitting on the back of the Ninja 300....at least from the picture. However, my wife does say that I have a tendency to over estimate the size of things... I am not quite sure what she is talking about though...

Me and Jeff met up for bike night, turn out wasn't as good as the last one but we saw some cool bikes and hung out with some cool people. The CBR500R looks way better in person to me than it does in pics. The next one close to me in is Smyrna on 9/11, feel free to come on by.

Was hoping we could go for a ride this Sunday but the rain is back.
