After!! give it some time tho. I wouldn't apply it after a fresh wax job.

I'd put some dewaxer/degreaser on that area, apply it, then rewax it. A professional painter told me that. I did it, it works and hasn't raised as of yet.

This sounds right.
So use the dewaxer.
Apply tank pad.
Rewax the area.

What works for dewaxer?

I just want to get this right cause I spent like 25 on this tank pad and I dont want it peeling up on me after a month and I've never applied a tank pad before.ya know

The closest one to stock height is the double bubble, but the shape of the windscreen is a lot more rounded. The sport touring one is a lot higher than the DB.I think there is a DIY thread on a double bubble install and there is a shot comparing the double to the stocker.

LOL

"How can we be expected to teach children to learn how to read if they can't even fit inside the building?"

I always forget about Zoolander. Fun flick for those with an easy sense of humor.

acutally I have a Zero Gravity SR light smoke windscreen. it's the exact same height as the stocker, just smoked. the DB was too tall for me liking. made the bike had funny proportions. I don't go on the highway much, so it's perfect for me.

and a picture of the Yoshi decal I got for my Bday

I also got the new ninja stickers on

I still have a little more to do.

What does everyone think?

My oldest daughter came up with it. Her hair has been green and pink. I stole the bike from her. She is the one who named her "Yoshi"

I got it from Fast Decal
http://www.fastdecals.com/
They shipped very fast but no instructions on how to remove old ninja sticker, but I found that a hairdryer worked great. No sticky stuff left behind.

WHAT? $12??? I paid $18!!!!! Totally not worth it at that price. lol

I put my tank pad on the second day I had the bike...a good rub with a microfibre cloth to get any dust off and so far the pad sticks great.
