Harsh reviews for a Sig from WHO? I just read a raving article in a gun mag about the 250. I've been daily carrying a P220 Elite for 3 years and it's nothing short of amazing. Granted the 250 is Sig's bottom of the line firearm, but I'd still take it over a glock, XD, etc. You can even change calibers if you see fit. I went to the range with my 220 after deployment, the thing hadn't been cleaned in a year, caked with dust, and it fired every round I put through it. I've never had it FTF. EVER. Sig FTW.

Man, I have owned several firearms and there is no better value than this!!!!

Link to original page on YouTube.

The trigger gets bashed but in just a few rounds you can master it. I love the 250 series!

Sig in my opinion has created a masterpiece at an incredible price.

Firearms have a tendency to multiple once in the safe. That is what I tell the wife anyway........

I'm still looking at purchasing a few more with an Ed Brown Executive Carry on the very short list.

For plinking?

A .22 would be my last choice for a carry gun, 9mm are controllable enough & pack way more punch, but it's hard to beat a .45 for stopping power (if she can control it).

I've heard the argument that a .22 will have the energy to enter the skull but not enough to exit, so bounces around & does catastrophic damage.
The thing is that a headshot is far more difficult to get right under the sort of pressure that would lead to firing a lethal shot, even in the military we were taught to go for the centre of mass with the first round (5.56 Steyr AUG) and assess from there if a 2nd shot & follow up to the head are needed

Get with the times you all!

Modern ballistics have come a long way.

One shot stop theory of the 80's and early 90's has been blown out of the water. The new 124-127 gr +p rounds will get near .357(all time one shot stopper)ballistics.

The great thing about the P250 is it is muzzle heavy and helps with hotter rounds.

They make the p250 in bigger calibers then a 9mm but I may get that in a 9 to save on ammo costs.

There are a lot of great deals on bulk 9mm hardball that is great for improving shot placement.

I look for deals online and wal-mart has some good prices from time to time. I just picked up a 250rd box of 45acp at Wal-Mart for a descent price.

Practice makes perfect!

Easiest way to cut ammunition cost is reloading but you really just end up shooting more often.

I had a progressive press in the 90's and enough dies for several calibers but even with the progressive press it took so much of my time. I just look for bargains and buy in bulk now.

Buddy I have been there as well. I remember the only thing I could afford was a box of 22 shells. I had a 10/22 and Mrk II Ruger. I still have those guns and love shooting them.

I have a handpress that allows me to reload while on the couch watching TV. Of course I'm doing the monotonous reloading tasks while on the couch, not the precision ones.

NAF makes a 5 shot .22 derringer, fits into the palm of your hand, easy to pocket and forget. If I holster up it's my hammerless off duty special .38 or the Son of Sam .44. I only carry when my wife is with me, she insists, as she has some baggage from life.

Last purchase was a pair of over-under 12 gauge derringers, awesome bruisers.

If moving to Wyoming I'd be looking for a horse to go with my bikes (and guns; 4 rifles .22 to .30-06 and 7 handguns .22 to .44)
