Took the License Test on my Ninja

ive had my ninja for about a month or so and my buddy has been riding for years and years and years. he said there was absolutley no way the test here in ohio could be passed on this bike. he said..."im a way better rider than you, and i had to take it on a dual-sport...your going to fail".. well, i told him to put his money (some of the money he uses to keep upgrading his $35k harley) where is mouth is and bet him 100 bucks i could pass it first try. Well i went in the next day at 8am to take my test. It started pouring rain...really really pouring. Ive never ridden in the rain before. Needless to say out of the 10 people taking it at that time...i passed it with the highest score out of them all by only missing 1 point....which was the braking test. Not really my fault since it was raining...oh well. Anyways, just wanted to rant a little bit. With that 100 bucks, i ordered a few things for the ninja!

Congatulations on passing the test and winning the loot. Yea the rain can make things a little slick so slow down and don't brake as hard on the rear brake.

he must not be that great of a rider if he doesn't recognize the handling capability of our bikes....
congrats on the test

Braking is very important when riding a motorcycle. Give the money back since you failed the important rain braking section of the test. You also need to take the motorcyle safety course wich will teach you this important braking. If you want you can send me the money and I will hold it until you pass the safety course.

Your buddy must be blind if he couldn't see how well handling these ninja's are. It is the best handling bike I have ever ridden.

CC Cowboy is right about breaking. But don't send him the money he'll surely squander it on booozzzzz!!!!!!

Definately take the MSF Course.

thanks for all the congrats...i have been riding for about 3 years now all together. this is actually my 4th bike, so im somewhat familiar with riding....although its never a bad idea to take the msf course. here in cincinnati, there are hardly any good roads to ride, so i dont get to put the mileage on my bike like i want to....it takes me close to an hour just to get to a decent road.

I never said he shouldn't. I've noted before that even my experienced boyfriend said he got stuff out of taking MSF.

Sorry about the roads man.

Solution... A bike doesn't have to be just a hobby. It is a vehicle and should be used as one. Ride it to work, school, small shopping trips, dinner, dates, church, baseball games, night clubs, bar-b-qs, anywhere.

I seldom take the famed, "RIDES" but I put between 60 and 150 miles a day on my bike atleast 4 days a week. (plus i'm married with kids)

I learned to do most of my riding in Venezuela and there most people don't own cars. it's a bike or a bus.
This is not an uncommon thing to see.

No I think about saftey and the wellbeing of my bike, but I think you get the idea.

I guess Venezuela is similar to Viet Nam.
