Aftermarket Rearsets
I know this is kind of a noob question to ask, but what is the purpose of aftermarket rearsets besides dropping the knee down? Does it improve performance in any way, or does it change the riding stance? Winter is coming up for me, so what better time to do mods than when the bike is just sitting in my garage.

Gophuff, aftermarket sets move your feet back, and up. This may be done for several reasons, like improved cornering, rider comfort, or squidlyness. In my case, my legs are too long to grasp the fuel tank securely, so moving my feet back will allow me to drop my knees a bit. And yes, there are several threads on the subject... |

Thanks for all the help to those who offered it. Sometimes searching through two years of threads, even using the search function isn't as easy as it sounds. Especially when when people list their mods such as rearsets in their sig. I just wasn't sure if there was any more functions to rearsets besides dropping the knees down and giving you a slightly more aggressive stance.

I wasn't trying to be a jerk about it. Tell you what... Trying searching "search" and see how many post you find. Read some of that and you'll find I was polite about it.
