Kawi Open House and Bike wash w/girls in bikinis, Twigg Cycles, Hagerstown MD (Pics!)

Yesterday my buddy who rides an SV650 rode from DC to an open house at Twigg Cycles in Hagerstown, MD. They had a free bike wash with girls in bikinis!

The ride there was a lot of fun, we kind of got lost going there but I ended up getting my first taste of the twisties. We ended up going down U.S. Route 40W in Maryland, near route 17, which we also went down (route 17 north) to take us back to 70 west to get to hagerstown. Route 40 was a lot of fun, there were some big ol hills that felt like roller coasters when going over the top, got some of that air time feeling There were lots of twisties for miles and miles
On one of the turns I even scraped the toe of my boot on the pavement It freaked me out a bit, that's the most I've ever leaned over the bike. I was laughing in my helmet afterwards lol I was feelin real good tho with my new pilot powers

Even tho we were going the wrong way I was having so much fun I didn't want to stop, but I finally pulled over and got back on course to our destination.

The open house was a lot of fun, lots of bikes and everybody was real cool. Twigg Cycles is a pretty nice dealership! There was free food/drink, a bikini bike wash, and multiple tents with different products/displays. It was a great time! I saw a couple other ninjettes there as well. My bike got a lot of compliments and people were even asking to take pictures of it One guy had a lot of compliments for my 2 bros slip

I finally got to sit on a zx6r and I'm pretty sure I want that to be my next bike I also sat on a goldwing (fat old man bike) god damn those things are massive and heavy!!!

ahh... nice pics!!! Reminds me of my bike wash... unfortunately for me, it was "too cold" to get down to their bikini's that they were wearing underneath... "too cold" in SoCal

My old stomping grounds.....Some absolutely beautiful and awesomely twisty roads up that way. You were only minutes from Antietam motocross track. If you go up that way again just a little up past Frederick is a town called Boonsboro just of 70 which is another great place to ride. Nothing but twisty country ridin'...............If you feel like safety wiring you bike up there is a great road race track not too far from the DC area called Summit Point Raceway and they have a decent amount of practice days.

Be safe riding around DC. It gets pretty hairy in and around the city not to mention the whole 495/270 nightmare.
