I love the mirrors on that orange bike even though they're probably useless.

Either those Indonesians have money growing on trees, or they can get stuff for wholesale or something. That copper bike....sheesh...the amount of money it would cost you to do that to a ninja in the states would be astronomical.

Custom Paint
Carbon fiber side panels
Carbon Dash
3D kawi logos
Billet bar ends
Brembo calipers
Brembo master cylinders
Billet levers
Aftermarket speedo/tach
Billet rearsets
Hugger
Fender Elim
LED tail lights
Mirrors
Custom gas tank...cause the ninja tank doesnt have recesses in the sides like that
Billet frame tube covers
Passenger pegs and mounts
Exhaust sliders
Full Race exhaust with headers
Underbody kit
Seat cowl
Carbon fiber fender
Airbox removal, and probably K&N's in its place...which means its probably also rejetted, and no telling what other engine mods
.....................the list goes on and on

You could buy a Hayabusa for what that guy has in that 250r

i'm guessing about 5k of mod goes into that orange bike.
bear in mind that zx6 cost 23k+ and hayabusa 40k+ in Indonesia

now if only they invested some time and money into what other engines we can swap into these bike. I think that would be worth more than all the snazzy cosmo parts.

the real problem is actually the 100% luxury import tax on the bigger fully imported bikes (like a busa, R1, Gixxer, Ducati) they cost over double of what you guys would pay for them in the states...

kawasaki was able to bypass the full force of the 100% import tax, but we are still paying $5.500

so, people are still willing to invest 3~4 grand and even more sometimes, cos thats still cheaper than buying a CBR600RR over here.

Correct me if I am wrong but the modding shouldn't be all that expensive. Labor rates over there are dirt cheap. Now what kind of tax is there on imported parts? If there are enterprising aftermarket companies actually manufucturing the parts in Indo. they shold be relatively inexpensive..So their 2K in mods is like 5K to us?????

the labor is almost free yes, when you buy a mod, they install it for free most of the times.

locally made products are not that expensive, but not everything can be found locally. and the parts that are imported still get hit by some tax.

for example, when i got my AreaP exhaust sent in, i had to pay almost 50% in taxes for that. i paid about $250 on top of the $625 that i paid for the exhaust + shipping.

however i am quite sure that if you have the right connections here, you could get away with bypassing this and just bribe someone like $50 for them to turn a blind eye, lol.

so the 2~3 grand that the guys over here spend is quite literally cost of mods only, and not that much if any is counted for labor cost.

but ya, a single swing arm would probably set you back over $500 i would imagine. custom paint jobs cost between $200~500. upside down front forks plus double disk brakes and decent calipers would probably set you back like $800? these are all just kind of wild guesses...

but prices that i do know are (still a rough exchange rate guestimate):

Koso gauge, $250~350 (depends if you get the factory or custom bracket)
K&N filter $100
pilot-jet kit $90
BRT Tis $250
rearsets $150~250
double bubble wind screen $ 25~40
fender eliminator $30~70
exhausts $150~1000 (from local to imports)
back seat cowl $50
rear huger $50~70
clipons $100~250
LED back light $80
frame slider $60~100
radiator cover $30
Tank cover $95
tinted/colored light cover $30
HID light (for one) $85

there is more, but that's about all that i can think of~

what is phenomenal is the amount of mods that is available now for the 250 here, there being such a big demand on it, the locals have really gone into overdrive to manufacture and importing everything you could want for our bikes
