Need help identifying 2 items
Happy to say, I got the bike started! However, I came across two items I can't seem to identify on various diagrams.
One is a pair of disconnected black & white wires (3rd pic) . My turn signals are fine, so is the horn, gauge lights, headlight, neutral, tach, temp and turn signal indicator. The other is some type of socket(?). It's white and has an openeng at the bottom. Incidentally, the speedo cable rubs on it when I turn the handlebar. I've attached photos hoping someone can help out. Thanks!

They're accessory power wires, and are normally just the way you see yours, unless they get connected to an accessory.
As far as the socket, I'm not sure what I'm seeing in the photos. I may have lost mine when I took the fairings off. |

the white thing is the headlight aiming adjustment, it's accessible from under the fairing, above the front fender.

Oh yeah! Now I remember. I think you can stick the right size Phillips screwdriver in the plastic part and it lets you turn the adjuster without having to actually get your hands up under the fairing. #2 Phillips maybe?

Ah...
OK, seems to all make sense. Pretty cool that it has an accessory power supply already.
Thanks for the prompt assistance. Now on to the carburetors I go...
