Clock for pregen?
I was looking around and found this site http://www.clocks4bikes.com/ninja250R.html and as far as I can tell, this clock is only for the new gens. But seeing as the stem bolts are both 22mm if I'm not mistaken for both gens, would this clock also fit the pregens? $40 is a lot to spend for a maybe.

People use cheap watches and Velcro as well...

I thought about that but I want something a bit nicer. I don't mind paying the $40, I just want to know if it will fit.

Your best bet would be to email the company

About 9 years ago I wanted a clock on my '05 EX250. But I didn't want anything cluttering up the bike's instrument panel.
My solution was making a small bracket that I could mount onto the inside of the turn signal bolt inside the fairing. Then I covered this new bracket with velcro and put velcro onto the backside of the clock. Works fine, very visible while riding. |

Thats actually a pretty sick setup. After calling the company they said as long as it's a 22mm bolt it should fit, if not I can return it. So I went ahead and bought it. If it doesn't pan out I may just make a bracket like the one pictured above.

Keep us updated. I personally have no plans to do this, as I've just put a watch on one of my handlebars, but I'm sure someone would benefit from having this info archived on the forum

Got the clock in the mail today, fits perfectly. Weather is crap right now so I'll post a picture when the rain stops. Honestly it seems really high quality for $40, and it's USA made in MS. They even sent a hand written thank you card for buying it.

Looks awesome, I went with a digital one, it not only tells time in 24hr format, but also displays voltage, and temperature ℃. You can select whichever you want, or set it to cycle through them.
