Motorcycle Personality Test
Please take this Motorcycle Personality Test. It will only take you 5 minutes, and I'm curious to know what it recommends for others...
http://www.helloquizzy.com/tests/the...rsonality-test I think the results are very accurate for me! ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This is my result: Moto Guzzi V11 You scored -1 moxie, 9 zeal, and -4 pomp! Moto Guzzi V11 You've ridden 'em all. You love riding, and you're at the peak of your game. You develop irrational love for unusual motorcycles, and the latest acquisition is a sweet Moto Guzzi. You are the most likely among the personality types to own a garage full of esoteric old bikes awaiting restoration.

lol, thought I'd give it a shot. No real surprise to me. But, R1...meh...that's a lotta power...
Yamaha YZF R1 You scored 7 moxie, 8 zeal, and 1 pomp! You're addicted to speed, but have the knowledge and experience to match. Although you like to win, you don't really care so much about competing with others as much as competing with yourself. Your bike is the Yamaha YZF R1. Given how easily the rear wheel on this beast spins up coming out of turns, it is fortunate that you constantly work to improve your skills. (I've seen more R1s crash at track days than any other bike.) It was a close decision with the Suzuki GSXR1000, but your personality seemed a bit more R1-ish. (But hey, I could be wrong. Its only a silly test.) |

Ducati ST4s
You scored 2 moxie, 8 zeal, and 6 pomp! You love riding, simply for the sake of riding. On the way to work, you sometimes find yourself taking the long way. The 50-miles-of-back-roads long way. Your mastery came about as a side effect from your love of the sport, although to be honest, you originally got into it because you thought a motorcycle would make you look cool. You need a bike that can handle your addiction to the twisties as well as reasonably carry two on a weekend trip through the mountains. Because you are a bit image-conscious and have a touch of ego, your bike is a Ducati. A practical Ducati, but a Ducati nonetheless. my ex always told me i would love a ducati |

Your result for The Motorcycle Personality Test ...
Yamaha FJR1300 You scored 5 moxie, 10 zeal, and 5 pomp! Yamaha FJR1300 You have the characteristics of a master street rider. On the way to work, your love for riding sometimes leads you to take the long way. The 50-miles-of-back-roads long way. You live for the perfect road, and plan vacations around riding. You need a bike that can handle your addiction to the twisties as well as comfortably carry two on a weekend trip through the mountains. Your bike is the FJR1300. Can I borrow it someday? Guilty! |

Ducati 996
You scored 8 moxie, 12 zeal, and 7 pomp! You exhibit an overexuberance in all respects that cannot be satisfied. Your attitude and ego are over the top, yet you actually have the skills to match. Its infuriating. People would hate you, but you're too damned nice. You always ride like its your last day to live, and leave bystanders vaguely aroused. Your bike is the Ducati 996. Sex on wheels. http://www.helloquizzy.com/results/t...=12&var_pomp=7

15 Do you own a vehicle with a manual transmission?
Yes No What's that? That question retorical?? Hello there aren't to many automatic motorcycles out there! Yamaha FJR1300 Which I don't agree with but then I am sure there is a limited scope of bikes this test is comparing to.

Pfft. I don't agree with this...
Honda Hawk You scored -5 moxie, 0 zeal, and 2 pomp! Honda Hawk Your interest in riding a motorcycle is purely practical - its cheap, easy to get through the city, and you can park anywhere. You are unlikely to ever ride anywhere except between home and work or school. In order to maximize the practicality of riding, you read the magazine reviews and choose a bland yet utterly reliable Honda, a sensible motorcycle for sensible people. |

I don't think the Hawk was all that 'bland' of a bike. Practical, maybe, but it had some pretty good reviews.

You scored 4 moxie, 5 zeal, and 4 pomp! Your result for The Motorcycle Personality Test ... Harley 883 Sportster Though I highly, highly doubt I'd ever buy this bike (in fact I'm about 99.9% positive that I never would) ironically enough it's the first bike I ever rode! Ducati Monster
You scored 3 moxie, 4 zeal, and 8 pomp! Ducati Monster You're a bit of a snob, but otherwise well-adjusted. Your bike is the Ducati Monster. Sexy. Powerful. Agile. Italian style in a badass matte black. Of all the test takers, you are most likely to have been hoping for your result to indicate that your bike is a Harley. It isn't. Sorry. You show the potential to become a superior rider, and you need a bike that encourages and rewards your learning. The Harley will just hold you back, and you'll have nagging feelings that something is wrong. The Suzuki SV series is also a good bet, but it wouldn't appeal to you. Far too Common. this quiz is pretty accurate, i love the cafe racer kind of looks, would have gotten a cruiser, but that is just socially not accepted (5'10 135lbs and asian). |

I got the 996 as well. Though to be fair the survey didn't have a question like:
"Do you enjoy spending thousands of dollars tracking down impossible to find electrical problems and manufacturing defects on your top of the line Italian sportbike?" I'd rock a 999 or later model, but any earlier Duc Superbike is a total crapshoot unless you enjoy working on 'em yourself (and have other bikes to ride when it's in a nonfunctional state). Quote:

Funny test...actually has some merit me thinks. I came in at 6, 7, 1 With the R1 recommended. I'd love to have an R1 but the truth be known I'd go for the Guzzi sport as first choice.
