Begin Press Release:

iXS Introduces the Tarmac Touring Boot

Deerfield Beach, FL – August 10th*2016 – IXS USA (https://www.ixsusa.com), a leading manufacturer in motorcycle apparel today announced the arrival of its newest touring boot, the Tarmac. The company, which prides itself on crafting high-quality protective gear, will be rolling out its new touring boot with the OutDry® membrane this fall – just in time for the rainy season.

A soft full-grain calf nappa leather, the Tarmac is designed to be comfortable and provide all-season protection while on the road. Featuring a reinforced heel cap and TPR ankle protectors, along with plastic inlays and accordion flex zones, the Tarmac has all the features to enhance a touring experience while meeting iXS’s high safety standards.

What makes the Tarmac stand out is the revolutionary membrane construction technique, highlighted by the use of the OutDry® technology within its design. iXS is one of the first motorcycle apparel companies to incorporate this technology into their products. The OutDry® membrane is waterproof, breathable and is steadily bonded to the upper inner side of the boot to perfectly fit and seal the outer shell, eliminating all possible water entry points and reducing water weight retention.

iXS USA has the Tarmac available for $219 and in sizes 7.5 – 12 (U.S. Men’s). For more information about the Tarmac, ask your local dealer or visithttps://www.ixsusa.com/product/tarmac.
