sticker removal

I want to remove the ninja stickers from the fairing.
I've read on kawi that the stickers have a clear coat over them.
If I remove them do I have spray another clear coat on?

Most people who do do not. From My experience when I took mine off for the repaint, the fairing stickers came off easily with a heat gun and some patience. I only took mine off so I could repaint, so I did not try to polish the area. The Tank was another question. I had to sand the tank down to bare metal, and reprimer before painting to get the KAWI logo off. It was a royal PITA.

The only ones that are clear coated in are the ones on the tank. Kevin has made some decals that you can use to overlay the decals on the tank if you don't want to have to deal with removing the clear coat. That thread also gives some tips on removing the other stickers.
