That's what happens when you go into the oncoming lane...

Looks like though right where the impact was the road was significantly narrower than the rest (one lane vs one and a half). They may have both been towards the center since they are both coming out of a corner and there's dirt and junk on the inside of the lane. Honestly can't see any single rider's "fault" and may just be a bad combination of several factors anyone would adjust to.

The description is interesting if true (and camera guy says he has follow up video). They both checked on but left the injured Harley rider down as his helmet flew off and so didn't want to risk further injury until the EMTs arrived. But other Harley rider came up and started raging on the sport bike guys. Really??

Thanks, took awhile to find the right phrasing of what i wanted to say.

That was born from a frustration of several folks complaining others don't follow the rules/laws/whatever, and then proceeding to act as if those same rules/laws/whatever did not apply to them.

Like I may get annoyed at the person in front of me going slow while on my way to work. But if they are going the speed limit and its me that's in a hurry, it's not their fault, its my problem.

((BTW no one here was the direct cause of that frustration, just an overall impression from numerous drivers/riders that i encounter throughout the day.))

I take it a step further and expect others to follow the rules they expect me to follow. Government is really, really... really bad at that.

I'll go ahead and say it ATGATT. Notice the Duc rider up and walking around immediately. Other guy, not so much. It might not be cool, but I would still wear a full face helmet on a Harley.

You would too if someone just took your friend out.

Duc's fault. oncoming Harleys looked to be on the outside of their lane.

I dunno, guess i am just more laid back and can't see raging at someone at the scene of an accident. No one intentionally sets out to cause a wreck and the Duc's day was ruined just as the Harley's day was. i'd be making sure my friend was ok, that the other riders were ok, get all the emergency calls made, then get info, make sure the oncoming traffic didn't cause any more problems. Once all is said and done and the insurance companies have gotten their nose into things, then i might start getting heated if my buddy wasn't taken care of. But what good does it do right then and there?

lol ha ha ha a rider made a mistake and caused a 2 bike accident SOOO FUNNY even funnier it's a ducati AND A HARDLY ABLESON AHHHRHTGSH.

Seriously I can't go on a MC forum without constantly seeing people acting like riders crashing is a form of ****ing entertainment. Because you consider them squids, or in some form inferior to you because of how or what they choose to ride? It's still a fellow rider going down. Show some respect. Multiple people could have been injured badly or died in this video and some of you are acting like its funny because of what they were riding. What if it was you who made that mistake? A momentary lapse in concentration and bam you hit another bike, probably one of the most embarrassing things a rider could do. Then everyone is laughing because "some noob on a 250" hit another motorcycle.

First glance I was definately thinking duc rider.. but after watching it a couple times I'm not 100% sure. The lens on the camera slightly distorts things. So while i'm still leaning towards the duc, i can't honestly say im positive he's 100% at fault (IE both of them could have run wide)

I'm suprised to not see marks from a locked up rear wheel from either bike.

I see no difference here. Besides, there's a lot of dumb@$$'s on motorcycles from all demographics. Just because I share a hobby with them does not mean I owe them any respect in any form, nor do I care to be associated with most of them. I'll ride my ride, they can ride theirs. If they do something stupid that I find funny, I'm going to laugh.

He who is unable to laugh at his own mistakes needs to go sit in the corner and rethink his life.

But I also didn't laugh at this video soooo...

Chill out.

So I saw crossing of double yellow, cutting outside of a vehicle with turn signal on, running stop sign. And this wonderful thing called left of center. A 2 way road with no markings doesn't mean you get the whole thing.

But here a Duc and an HD, two commonly stereotyped bike/rider combinations collide with each other because one of them made a mistake and suddenly it's comedy. Don't tell me to chill out, this isn't the only forum where I've seen this stuff, I get tired of it.

So you're attempting to police all the interwebs and make us magically gain some sense of fraternity towards all other motorcyclists, one post at a time?

Tell me, how's that going for you?
