wobble at different speeds

Sometimes when I take my hands off the grips I'll get a wobble which can turn into a tank slapper if I would let it go that far? Doesn't do it all the time and it does it at different speeds. I've checked tire pressure and checked rear wheel to front wheel alignment. I haven't lifted the front end to see if triple tree bearings could be loose nor have I checked the factory balance. Has done it since day one. New non current 2012 with 4K. Anyone else experience any problems like this?

Since you say you've double-checked the rear wheel, I'd say make sure the chain is adjusted properly and get your tires balanced.

Had the same issue and first thought it was due to the worn out tyres. Changed the tyres and the problem did not go off.
the steering stem bearing had worn off and replacing it did the trick for me. i was hoping for damaged bearing cause of the road conditions here. My ninja is on off-road conditions 60% of the time
