I would try to move before starting my braking as to not upset the bike loading up the front suspension under braking. I feel like I am probably not locked in with my legs and am relying on my arms to hold on to the bike therefore putting input into the bars when its not needed/helpful
Just a thought -- try 'sliding across' more than 'picking up and putting down'. If you pick up and put down you are likely to move weight around (e.g. put it in your arms) and that could upset things. This is a big part of the "knee to knee" exercise at CSS and has helped me (though @Misti did have to get me to 'calm things down' a bit -- I was sliding with way more power than was needed and the impact of my newly-locked-on leg slamming into the tank caused the bike to wobble a bit.)

Thanks! I will try that for sure. I was watching some of the Ride University stuff as well. I definitely need to work on just being smoother on the bike and using my legs on the tank. Will make sure not to slam my knee too hard!

@daverdfw, @Yakaru is leading you down the right path there.

Your bike instability when you move is a matter of timing. Knee to knee, sliding across the seat, hip flick and the pick up drill (all California Superbike Drills) will get rid of most of the instability shown in your vid.

I will give you some points that I see in your vid.
On corner exit (on throttle), and you list and reset in the saddle and the bike moves
On corner entry and loose on bars, the bike is stable.

Bonus question: Could being tight on the bars as you have noted cause the bike to wiggle when moving around in the saddle? What do you need to grip tighter with to prevent that, assuming your not doing it with too much power like Yakaru?

I have no doubt being tight on the bars is resulting in unwanted steering inputs.

I think if I focus on sliding back in the seat less and getting lover on the tank and reducing the weight I am putting on my arms is probably a good start, thoughts?
