I live in Bangkok City , Thailand The city has a traffic jam on top of the world.

Distance between my home Go to my company is 12 kilometers away ,
But traffic jams I took a 2 hour and a half by car,
I am now takes just 45 minutes. After I have used Ninja 300,
I love it

Your bike is very nice. Not a good idea riding around in heavy traffic in tee-shirt, shorts and running shoes.

I could walk 12 km in less time than the drive. Probably too congested to bike (bicycle), but I can bike 12 km a lot faster than 45 mins too.

No need. Trust me. I lived in Bangkok for 15 months. In the city center, if you're moving more than 15mph, you are flying! Most of the time, you have your foot down longer than your foot on the pegs.

For everyone else wondering what it's like riding in Thailand and most of SE Asia:

Traffic lights there are a mere suggestion. Everyone and their mothers run lights (at 3mph) because of the intersection is always blocked. Cops? Not a problem. Just toss them 500 Baht and they'll walk away. Toss them 200 Baht and you may have to verbally persuade them a little. Takes too much time.

So corrupt.

Oh....and it's hot and humid as hell. I rode with sneakers, shorts and an Under Armor wife beater the entire time I was there. My commute was only 3 miles (from Khao San Road area to Chulalongkorn University). Takes me over 30 minutes on a scooter. Walking it takes about 50 minutes. If I didn't mind my ass crack dripping with sweat by the time I get to my destination, I walk it.

I think everyone in the US should experience what it's like riding in Thailand, Malaysia and Vietnam. Totally different culture. Crazy skills needed for balancing and reading traffic flow and knowing how to dance with the traffic so you don't disrupt the 8mph flow.

Oh....and cars really do want to kill you there. They have the right of way. Darwinism is highly respected there. Large trucks have the right of way (by force). Then cars have the right of way. Then motor bikes. Then bicycles. Then pedestrians are lowest on the totem pole. Aside from that, one way streets become two way streets. Sometimes you drive on the right side of the road. Sometimes you drive on the left side of the road. It really doesn't matter. No one cares. Everyone does it.

But definitely fun times riding there!

OP, welcome to the forums. Thanks for the memories that came rushing back! (except for the ladyboys).
