"Lose"

I saw this back when you first uploaded it. FWIW, Trapster probably works better for iPhone users because it's real-time and mobile and GPS-enabled.

Never heard of that service before. I guess it could come in handy one day.

Trapster is the way to go on the Iphone, but it was a cool video anyway.

It's why I don't have Trapster on my phone. Instead, I use GPS apps that records max and average speed to dispute any tickets. I do so because I was wrongly pulled over in my sister's car last year by a cop who was driving 10MPH under the limit when I passed him (precisely why I passed him). The speed limit went up to 50MPH from 40MPH, I moved up to 50MPH, he maintained 40MPH, then he pulled me over saying that he was doing the limit and I was doing 10MPH faster, acting like I totally didn't notice him and he "caught" me when I went from BEHIND him to pass. Idiot.

I hate prick cops like that. Lucky for me, the last couple of times I got pulled over I had some of the coolest, laid back cops. Heck we were joking with each other by the end.

My wife was in the car with me one time when we were going to Austin. I pulled out and got on it hard in my GT. Speed limit 65, my speed- 75. Oopps. I know there was a state trooper behind me too once I got off the gas. I knew I was going to be pulled over. The lights came on and I wasn't surprised. My wife said, "OOOh, someone is getting a ticket!" Then she started to laugh.

I pulled off the highway onto a dead side street. He walked up, I greeted him with my insurance and DL. He asked if I knew why I was pulled over. I said yup, I got on it a bit too hard and let off a bit too late. He asked if I knew how late, I said yeah, about 10 mph too late.

He said, hey you ride a motorcycle? I said yeah, a ninja 250. He replied, a 250? I said Yes, it is a smaller bike and prevents this exact thing from happening. He got a chuckle and said he would be right back. My wife said, I can't believe it, you get pulled over and you two act like best friends.

He walked back and said, Mark, I'm giving you a warning. Just watch that accelerator. I smiled and said thanks so much.

As I was driving off, my wife said she couldn't believe it. If it were her, she'd have received a ticket. lol

I told her, even a blind squirrel finds a nut every now and again.

My only question is: Do they need to kick and punch you when catch you ? I mean, i dont see as needed to push the guy out the bike and kick you to arrest you. Doesnt make sense to me... seems like brutal police way...

I doubt that would be a problem. Too many ppl either don't care or already know where the speedtraps are and still choose to speed or drive recklessly.

Isn't trapster user based? I had it when I had my TransAm and had too many late locations to make it worth it. Sometimes I would update a new location of where the cop was waiting but by then the cop could've already used his speed gun to catch someone else without the app.
