Ninjette Member of the Month - September 2013 (JohnnyBravo & tfkrocks)

It's that time again! As always, to be on the ballot, you need to be in the top 10 of posts for the past month. I'm excluded, as is anyone who has won in the past 12 months. The current listing is always up here: top posters, under the quicklinks menu.

The criteria to win is up to the voter. Most helpful, least helpful, least annoying, most annoying, best avatar, it's open season. Winner gets to choose a privilege that I can reasonably fulfill. Larger avatar size? Want to auto-welcome newbies? More PM space? Special phrase under username in addition to custom user title? Skies the limit, as long as it doesn't cost anything, and I can code it in 8 minutes or less. The winners get all the same privileges as a group, so you get the benefit of whatever the earlier folks (and later folks) asked for as well.

Nice! I normally don't rank in the top 10 for posts, so I either upped my game this month or others have been slacking, either way ill take it.

My guess is that the typical top posters all have already gotten member of the month too recently

Yup, there are quite a few in the top 10 list that are already winners, so they aren't on the ballot. But we've been doing this for over a year now, so some of these same winners will start to age out of that 12 month rule, and be eligible once again soon.

And what's this curse? D: Should I win or will winning cause me to return to my bike only to see every tooth on my sprocket missing?

Can't ride due to physical disability or because the 250 got totaled? If the curse gets me a 300 by totaling my 250 which I almost did in my last crash then by all means, I wouldn't mind.

make sure y'all have the insurance! That's what helped me get my 300. And someone that's a really good deal finder.

Maybe the "curse" is to get a 300. Not necessarily to crash.
