Alpinestar GP plus gloves

Picked up a pair of these at cyclegear store down the road from me. In the store the Large seemed to fit well, a little snug in some area's but figured they would break in. Wore them for the ride with MishtaT and his buddies to car show on Sunday morning. I got on the road at 7am to meet them at his place and it was a little chilly and first thing i noticed these gloves don't insulate for crap but then again that is not what they were designed for so it is what it is.

Other thing i started to notice as gloves broke in a little bit was that the fit was not that great. My right middle knuckle which sticks out quite a bit started to smash against the plastic knuckle guard and was uncomfortable. Not sure if this was from being to tight, or i had to much movement inside and my hand was not in the proper position inside the glove.

Either way overall i really like the gloves, very well made nice features, hopefully the store will take them back and maybe i can try on a few different sizes to see if that was the problem and get another pair. If not hopefully they accept return and i can get something else.

really xxl? your hands must be huge, you know what that means huh?

I normally wear a large glove, i traded my large gp plus in for Mediums today i think they fit a little better. I can barely get my hand in them but once i do the fingers and knuckle area seem to be where they should be. I guess i will find out tomorrow morning. I had to get the black gloves as they had no other colors in medium. oh well.

I actually tried on the XL first when i bought them. The XL felt good but figured they would break in and stretch and be to big so i went with the Large thinking they would break in and fit better. the pinky and ring fingers were long, other fingers seemed fine, maybe it was just my hand. Either way now giving the medium a try. IF they don't fit right i will just get a different glove
