I'm going to be going one day for sure, but I haven't decided which one yet. I'm probably going to only stick around for maybe an hour or so so I can schmooze a bit and grab some track calendars and a ticket pack. Otherwise, I've already done it twice and there's not really much left to see there.

Although I do still kind of want to see if I can test ride a can am spyder

If you guys go to the show, make sure you see the presentation by Doug Wothke.

He's a guy from Alabama that has ridden around the world each of the last 4 or 5 years on old Harleys and even an Indian. I find him very entertaining, he doesn't do big-budget, BMW GS tours.

Here's a link to his latest 'round the world trip:http://advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=681994

The rest of them can found on ADVrider as well.

I agree. Although I've always attended them in the last 7 yrs it is still somewhat boring.

When is this again? Dinner & beer after show? What's the price?

Picked up my tickets a couple of weeks ago, but if I go next year I'll stop by to see if there's another group buy brewing.

I'm really looking forward to it this year It'll be my second show and now that I know more about bikes and riding I plan on geekin' out. Bonus: Taking my brother and another friend with me

Honestly, i9 was going to set up a group buy for the tickets and try and get us all to ride up together, but i seriously do not have the time to dedicate to it right now, work is crazy i have parties and get togethers planned out for the next few weeks. My free time is very limited, i will be going friday and all day saturday.

hah, anyway, trying my best not to be a debbie-downer, but the show does kinda suck, no point going in for all 3 days, even 2 hours is maximum for me and my gearwhoring self (oh, quite a bit of gear are on sale there, but usually odd size and old stuff)

i will probably do Sat.

aiya... I have a regular 9-5 man (6:30 actually)... so I can't make it till very late.

In the meantime, my friend did say you can pre-register for the demo rides on Friday, and come back on Sat/Sun for the actual riding.

this is a somewhat thread-jack/derailment, but if you all are also similarly interested in the Chuckwalla trackday in Jan, I highly recommend you guys group together and buy Trackdaz's 4 pack for $400 (that's a saving of $70 per person). The 4 pack is only available at the bike show.

Jeff: just a personal analysis (may not apply to you and others), but i think the 4 pack is overkill if you can't use it for the Jan 21/22 trackdays. All remaining Trackdaz trackdays are Chuckwalla Fridays (before the CVMA races), and 2 Buttonwillow, one in Aug (HOT), one in Nov during thanksgiving, just like a week ago this year. Nov 2012 is too far out to decide, I myself would use it all up now for the Jan trackday.

Fridays are fine for me, i write my own work sched and can take any days off i want, going on a friday works better for me tbh as i can rest saturday and work sunday (time and a half for me). I also plan on going to the sunday session in jan

Trust me ill use them

Towards the end of next season ill look for cheap days from people who over bought on track packs :P

FYI - if you plan on picking up the Trackdaz 4 pack go directly to the Trackdaz booth when you get in. I've seen these things sell out late Friday if not early Saturday.

I'll be there after work on Friday just to pick this up, and look around for an hour.

BTW, when IS this?!!! LOL!

last season's gear or item that Berts/Motorhelmets.com/Del Amo/ want to get rid off. Some are decent stuff. Most really aren't.
