Put the bike into storage
Well finally put the bike into storage today and it was no fun.
Stabilized the gas, ran the float bowls dry, pulled the battery and pushed inside........ To sit in the middle of a pack of HD Local harley shop had the cheapest storage rates around here. Biggest wizzer of it all was a "friend" who said I could use their garage. Even told them I would clear the space to put the bike in but they just couldnt be bothered to let me get to it and now that the Condo Rules say had to have bike off property (no garages) had no choice but to send it to hang with the Harleys.

Lee, Contrary to popular belief--motorcycles communicate with each other. Think positive. Those Harleys may learn something from your Ninja.

I thought it was hilarious seeing the Ninja packed in with the HDs. Was a major pain clamping the line to drain the bowls and then of course the two silver washers for the seat mounts had to jump out and roll across the parking lot on me so spent 30 minutes chasing them down. Might as well give the shop a plug. Doc's in Waterbury CT are a nice shop to deal with. Ive gotten a few parts and tips from them and they have always been more then helpful.

Lee, I just got my Honda NT-700VA from North Country Harley-Davidson, Honda. Great bunch of guys and gals. I like to think of all of us as motorcyclists. I hope it is a short winter as well even though I ride quite a bit during the winter months. We get very little snow on the coast.

The ninja should be safe from at least all the rats and mice. They will be knawing on all that leather on the HDs and leaving yours alone!
