250sl hugger for 250r?

Hello team,
I was wondering if anyone has tried ninja's 250sl hugger (pn:36014-0562) fitting it in the r version.I guess it won't be plug and play but if it is easily modded i guess i should give it a try.Cost is around 30euro.Also my rear is 150/60/17 will it fit?

Just looking at the parts diagram, it looks like it uses the same mounting points on the left side. You could probably drill and tap a hole in the crossbrace for that one. It looks like there's a couple extra tabs on the right side for it to mount to. You may be able to rig something up - I believe people were using zipties on the right side with the Byson hugger.

The 300's mini-hugger chainguard mounts on the 250 swingarm with just a couple extra holes. This one might not be too different either.

The Z250SL's trellis frame is obviously quite different, but the swingarm looks pretty similar (along with a number of other parts). If you wanted to go that far, you might be able to swap the whole swingarm in to get all the correct mounting points.

I don't know about that hugger, but a bunch of people on this forum have successfully fitted a Honda CBR250R hugger to the Ninja 250R (2008+). It's cheap and looks great. You just have to cut a small bit of plastic off of it and use strong zip ties to hold it on the bike. Here's one of the threads on it:
