I never had a chance to install it so I cannot comment on the ride quality.

I am selling my 300 and I have a few extra parts that aren't going with the bike.

Ah global internet. Just sent you a PM and then realized you're in Germany. To a Ninja n00b, pictures, and any other info about setup would be awesome!

I'm on a US military base which is how I can ship USPS.

I'll try and get some pictures now.

Somebody buy this, even if your done it all yourself by piecing it together, your still into it for somewhere near $75-$100 depending on the bones you get. So your not really overpaying. This is a no brainer install with all the parts right there.

The ride quality is very much improved and for you track riders... GET SOME!

And I overpaid for the dogbones ($100) Link but I'm not looking to pass the pain to the next owner.

Ryan thank you for your answer and excuse me for my at least unnecessary question since I'd read about the drilling but in my mind there was the idea about the stiffness.
But may I please ask you another question, just for me interesting, how long is the measurement beween the eyes of the dog bones?
Thank you and enjoy your time in Germany.

I'm the new owner
Hope it works on my 250R... spent an hour on the phone with suspension tech yesterday and basically the answer was "try it and let me know"

@bitaria - Gratz! Here is your install DIY. If you have all the tools, a vice to hold the shock and a decent drill, your install should take about 1-2 hours. Take your time, do a good job and torque those bolts to spec!

Ask your tech friend to help you set it up if your unsure how to do it. @Rexbo may be able to give you some pointers on some initial settings based vaguely on your weight and such.

I really, really like mine. The difference is night and day while at pace on the track. Especially over the bumps.

We are going to address the front with emulators / springs / preload adjustable fork caps. The main concern with the GSXR shock is valving and spring rate. Looks like the new link will get height about where it should be too.
@csmith12, well checked the WMRRA rulebook and it does not say non-stock dogbone links are allowed, so maybe I won't be able to use them. Crap.

I have found/learned that.... unless your beating the crap outta everyone, nobody will really care. YMMV.

So... they will allow a gsxr rear shock in a ninjette, but not the dog bones?

Supersport rules allow any shock to be used, but linkage is not called out - per regs anything that is not explicitly allowed is not. Height-adjustable shocks are available to accomplish the same goal, but they are much more expensive. Kinda dumb in Ninja Cup context.
