GB Koso Gauge Brackets

This is a GB thread for Koso RX2 or RX2N brackets. Looking to get roughly 5+ people who are interested to split up the cost of shipping from Indonesia. Wayan, a member on this board, has done similar GB's before and is willing to help get the parts and ship them over. Refer to this post for pics of the brackets.

According to Wayan, he will charge us $70 each bracket (I believe it doesn't matter what style) this includes cost of the bracket, paypal fees, currency transfer fees, and Wayan's own personal shopping service fees. Everyone will paypal Wayan. Once all payment is received, he will purchase the brackets. Box everything up and get us shipping quotes. Off the top of my head, estimating about $30 each give or take to get this shipped over to the USA. Obviously the more people we get in the GB, the cheaper shipping will be for each of us. The box will come to me, and then I will handle individually packaging and shipping to everyone. I'm estimating $15-20 shipping once in the states. Will get a more accurate estimate once I get it boxed and weighed. This is for people in the USA only. I don't want to deal with international shipping.

Those who are also interested in the Koso volt meter, it maybe possible to add that into this GB. Wayan says that they are in low supply over there, so it may not be possible. More info to come. If you want one, you may have to source it on your own - ebay or whatever. Or you if you get a bracket with the gauge hole, put a AFM gauge or something else in there.

Wayan if any of the pricing info is incorrect please post and I will correct it.

If you are interested copy and add your name to the GB list.

shipping from half way around the world from a small country ain't exactly cheap you know. like i said more ppl who are interested it would reduce the cost of shipping for each of us. plus at this point its just a estimate. could be cheaper. i was in the rear hugger GB from wayan, i believe we paid $30 for shipping each from Indo for a $6 part. LOL but then again huggers are a lot bigger.

Ok, I'm interested. I'll be participating in the GB for the gauge itself, but I'd want the bracket for the RX2 with the voltmeter included please. Thanks.

1. gt_turbo
2. EthioKnight (RX2 bracket + voltmeter)
3. ator (RX2 bracket without the voltmeter)

**EDIT

Now only 2 more needed.

Also, once in the U.S., you should be able to ship to us in a flat rate box to save on domestic shipping. Looks like they would fit into a $10.00 box

@gt_turbo, sorry brother but I'm going to have to ask to be removed from the GB, I've gone ahead and paid for the stock koso bracket, it was a good deal for only $20 and this way, I'll be able to immediately install everything. Good luck with the GB.

I have a slightly used KOSO 250r bracket for sale if anyone wanted to buy it. I highly don't recommend it because it's mega ugly.... even with carbon fiber vinyls.

The one and only Wayan :P I know it is a bit pricey but imo, it's worth the money if you're already shelling out $200-300 for gauges. I couldn't be happier with the turnout.

Any update on this? In terms of pricing? Might be interested. Does anyone have pics of an installed koso w/ the koso bracket? I want to see how "horrible" they look.

i believe ethioknight said he was out of the GB. so this should be the actual updated list. unless he's back on the bandwagon

we'll have to see if we can get them to fit in a medium flat rate box. it would be $10.50 for a medium. I'm not sure what a large box would be. But USPS also does not insure them for free, so if they get damaged in transit you're out $100+. Shipping UPS automatically insures up to $100 and you can get more for additional charge. i can ship whatever you want, insurance or none. it'll be up to you.

Note that wayan's paypal account is messed up and won't be taking orders for the time being and is probably stressed enough while he deals with paypal. If he does start taking orders it will be through international bank transfers or western union i guess.

I can sell the KOSO bracket for $25 (the one shown on post #20).

I had to use the screws that mount to the frame on my current bracket so I cannot include them, but it shouldn't be difficult to find screws for it (the stock ones might even fit)

Here's an old pic right after I installed it:
