Talking Santa Cruz, Ca rider..new to the street.

Hey all,

I got my M1 license about 2.5 months ago, and went up to SF Moto to purchase my 250...ended up with a barely used 2011 250SE (had all of 741 miles on her) in white/black/red. Since then, I've been on her as much as possible, logged approximately 2k miles in commuting and joy-riding.. I guess those are kind of the same thing on a motorcycle, actually. Most of that riding has been commuting on Highway 9 (damn, I'm lucky) and has even included 8-9 miles of dirt road on a Vampires MC Rally ride in May.

I love my bike, and look forward to learning more, riding more, and hopefully not putting it down too often or too soon. For those of you wondering, I am definitely ATGATT.

I am beginning to think about moving up in bikes, but that will likely be a few months out at least. I would like to be using the 250 to the limits of its capability (throwing her deep into corners) regularly before moving up...and I do plan to keep Eva (my 250) even if I do purchase another bike..can't beat her in the twisties.

Welcome

And good luck ever using the 250 to it's limits, even I haven't gotten that far yet When you do upgrade get something capable of doing wheelies then join us for a group ride so you can rub it in @CycleCam303 face

No but really if you ever want to join ether a big or small group of friends for a ride thought the mountains hit us up. I think we have one passing right through that area beginning of next month.

Any chance you chose to name it Eva because of the colors & the movie Wall-E? If so, you rock. If not, well you rock anyways because that's an awesome name.

Ding ding ding we have a winner.

My car was technically named first (2012 Mazda 3 five door also in pearl white/black interior) and her name is Wall-E, so it made sense to name my bike Eva as she is also pearl/black and is the smaller, faster version of Wall-E.
