So my gauges Act up.

So I've been having problems with my Tachometer and my fuel gauge, sometimes during start up they don't do nothing. I have to give them a slight wake up tap, and they come to life. I've pushed in all the connectors I could feel by hand and they all seemed plugged in correctly. Is this something that's going to require pulling the whole cluster to inspect more closely? I know they work it's just that I have to tap them slighty when ever they don't come to life right away. I've gotten use to it now, but if it's something simple I can fix I would like to know. The gauges work fine after there operating correctly. Any suggestions? Or similar issues with others?

It seems that both needles get stuck or sticky against the top pole.

I have fixed one without disassembling by using a magnifier and a ray of Sun to reshape the needle, but that is delicate work because much heat may deform or melt the needle.
